About me

I earned a B.S degree in Biology Education from Southeastern Louisiana University and a M.A.S.T degree (+18) from the University of New Orleans. I have been teaching for over 17 years and I have noticed that many students start off each semester under considerable stress due to textbooks. Whether it is due to the cost of them, problems with access codes, or technology issues, the majority of my students encountered some kind of obstacle accessing their textbook materials. I love the idea of OER textbooks and the simplicity of accessing them. From day one, students have their textbooks, with no technology issues, and no financial stress. They help get the semester off to a great start!
