Sabia discusses, among other things, the serve lack of representation and support of the LGBTQ community in curriculum and classrooms. She touches on ways to create more inclusive curricula, learning environments, and benefits of OER for LGBTQ inclusion. This underscores how the permissions of OER allow us to customize materials to be more inclusive and representative.

Lauren underscores how open pedagogy is engaging with students as creators of new knowledge and can live outside of the classroom to continue to impact the community beyond the life of the course. In this section, she provides examples that could be implemented.
